NKP 765 leads a Saturday morning "Steam in the Valley" excursion between Independence and Indigo Lake on the CVSR.

NKP 765 rolls southbound through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Jaite, Ohio on it's ferry move to Akron for the last two public excursions of CVSR's Steam in the Valley event.

CVSR 800 aka B&O 800 blasting past Jaite Ohio to clear room for NKP 765.

765 does her thing while visiting the Cuyahoga Valley... a Lima Berk at stride on a sunny Sunday morning was quite a sight to behold.

The 4241, a former CP unit, crosses a short trestle as it trails on a regular northbound CVSR passenger train.

The Jaite stop was an unpretentious one in 1979.

NKP 765 rushes southbound through Jaite on it's way to Canton. Spectators and enthusiasts from all around enjoy as the Iron Giant knocks down milepost after milepost.

With FLNX 484 now in command of the excursion on its return trip northbound, NKP 765 takes an easy ride on the tail of the train through Jaite.

Fall colors begin to appear in northern Ohio as steam returns for the first time in 17 years to the Cuyahoga Valley, which none of the 86 people who asked "What's going on?" seemed to believe.
